Body leak detector
Automatic process carousel
The electronically controlled body leak detector BLD is designed with a rotating platform for stationary installation on the floor, with a connection to a chain conveyor system via automatic inlet and outlet units. And the BLD is equipped with many full-body LPG cylinder leak testing units.
The BLD is fully automatic, and each leak testing unit performs a leak test (identifies the actual leak rate) on the full cylinder body with MAKEEN Energy’s unique infrared leak test tube CIR-T. The test result is compared to a preset permitted maximum leak rate according to applicable norm/legislation to approve or reject LPG cylinders. The leak test is only possible if the cylinder contains LP gas.
Composite cylinders
Detecting leaks in composite LPG cylinders presents unique challenges due to their material composition and structure. Traditional methods, like submerging cylinders in water to observe for bubbles, are less effective with composite materials, as they may not reveal small leaks and can be cumbersome.
Our Body Leak Detector (BLD) addresses these issues by offering a fully automatic, dry, and clean testing process. It employs advanced infrared technology to detect leaks with high accuracy, eliminating the need for water immersion. This method ensures reliable detection of even minor leaks.

The unit is compatible with MAKEEN Energy's Industry 4.0 Digital Solution, which enables data capturing of the process for remote supervision, performance optimisation, and predictive/preventive maintenance alerts through e.g. a MAKEEN Energy cloud solution (optional).
