As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing machines for filling, checking, inspection, and maintenance of gas cylinders.
With support from your team, you will independently make decisions related to the development and improvement of machines. You will collaborate with our Sales and Project Management departments, ensuring that machines are tailored to customer needs and delivered according to specifications.

- Technical support: communicate with supervisors regarding technical challenges and solutions. Support manufacturing and production units in Sri Lanka and France.
- Conduct necessary searches in IFS (ERP) to support design and manufacturing.

- Be able to prioritise tasks based on project needs and deadlines.
- Be able to manage multiple product responsibility areas (with time).
- Be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with mechanical components used in industrial machinery is a plus but not required.
As a person, you:
- Are proactive, responsible, and capable of working independently.

We don’t expect applicants to meet 100% of the criteria above—you may have valuable skills we haven’t even thought of. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply, regardless of your background.
Future responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you should gain sufficient knowledge to operate independently within specific product responsibility areas, while gradually taking on more responsibility for product management and actively contributing to development. We also see you becoming well-integrated in our matrix organisation, collaborating effectively with your team and contributing to innovation.
And what’s in it for you?
You will join an informal working environment with room for people of all kinds and backgrounds. Your new colleagues in the Design and Software Engineering team are looking forward to welcoming you and share their knowledge. In your first weeks here, you will participate in a detailed onboarding and introduction process. You will have access to an array of benefits, such as:
