India National Safety Week

National Safety Week 2024 was a huge success. Our mission remains to make safety the top priority in every facet of our business.

Manoj Kumar Jha General Manager, MAKEEN Energy India

4-10 March was the National Safety Week in India, highlighting and raising awareness of safe practices for individuals and communities. The theme was “Focus on Safety Leadership for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Excellence”.

Our colleagues in MAKEEN Energy India organised a plethora of workshops, drills, campaigns, and outreach initiatives, aiming to share crucial safety knowledge and equip the participants with the necessary skills to effectively address any challenges that emerge.

The four main goals that defined the National Safety Awareness Week were:

  • To raise awareness
  • Facilitate training
  • Support policy reforms
  • Foster community involvement

All the LPG plants we operate celebrated the week with workshops, seminars, training sessions, and awareness campaigns, as well as practical demonstrations and drills designed to simulate real-life scenarios.
