Purchasing Manager for KC ProSupply UK

KC ProSupply UK Limited is a dynamic and market leading company that delivers equipment and technology to LPG gas users all over the world. We are searching for a highly skilled Purchasing Manager for our offices in either Kingswinford or Swansea.

Your primary responsibilities

You will be responsible for all aspects of the purchasing function for a group of specialist companies in the UK, Denmark and Portugal.

The majority of the supplier base is within the UK and Europe. Therefore, will need to be proficient in customs procedures plus negotiations. You may also, from time to time, need to be flexible about your working hours, as we operate in all time zones. To a limited extent, this may also include travelling to sister companies to attend meetings or conferences.


As a person, you are flexible and can provide support in all aspects related to the purchasing function. You thrive in a busy environment with many varied tasks and lots of contacts in the UK and abroad. You are good at passing your knowledge on to others and at communicating on all levels of the organisation. Furthermore, we would like that you:

  • Are experienced in purchasing, ideally in an engineering role.
  • Have basic negotiation experience.
  • Have knowledge of operative purchasing processes (SAP Business One preferred).
  • Have knowledge of relevant supply chain/logistic solutions.
  • Have a basic legal understanding.
  • Have knowledge of relevant IT solutions in purchasing.
  • Have good IT skills (e.g. MS office / ERP).
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Are good at teamwork and compliance with deadlines.
  • Have a thorough understanding of import/export procedures.
